Time Flies . . .

It's been over a year since I've posted to this blog. Life has been busy, and I think that's the main reason I haven't spent time recording our lives here. But, I've realized (again) how quickly time flies.

This blog is such a nice way of keeping track of the little joys and pains in our family, I am resolving to record them more often. I am also resolving not to feel a need to "catch up" if the blogging doesn't manage to keep pace with the living.

We are in the season of birthdays . . . David turned 4 on September 15, Nicholas turned 3 on October 2 and Nora will be 6 on the 27th. Nora's birthday is the day after she, Will and I return from visiting Aunt Andrea and Uncle Scott in Reno for a very important concert.

Our homeschooling year is off to a wonderful start. The schedule seems to be meeting all of our needs, and both Will and Nora are learning a lot(and usually enjoying the process). Our major ancient history project this month is embalming a chicken, which we will mummify at the end of the month. Cub Scouts and Irish dance are at the center of the kids' social lives. Jeff is Secretary of Cub Scout Pack 91 and I'm very involved with our parish homeschool group, which includes almost 100 families.

This is sounding an awful lot like a Christmas letter, so I'll spare you more generalities. I'll be back soon with the minutia of our days. In the meantime, blessings to you all.
